Mediasite provides cloud-based video storage within the Canvas LMS. Many of these videos include captioning. Below are a few reminders regarding captioning and Mediasite:

  • All videos should be titled following this naming process:
    1. [Course Abbreviation, Course Number, Video Title]
      • Example: PHAR 555 Introduction to Pharmacy
    2. Videos titled incorrectly and submitted for captioning will be returned to the instructor for corrections. 
  • All videos in the Canvas LMS need to be captioned. This includes external videos (such as YouTube).
