If you have not created a Canvas Studio Quiz, see the How do I create a Canvas Studio quiz? solution.
If a grade will be assigned, you will use this tutorial. When no grade will be assigned (e.g. as a Quick Check), you will need to view the How do I embed a Canvas Studio quiz? solution.
- Open a new assignment in your Canvas course.
- Provide the quiz directions. Please include that students must watch the video until the end to submit the quiz.
- As you fill in the assignment details, under Submission Type, click External Tool and Find. Click Canvas Studio from the list and click the blue Select button in the lower right corner.
- In your Canvas Studio My Library that appears, click the Select This button in the center of the media that you would like to use.
- Below the video click Video Quiz Embed. If there is more than one quiz attached to the media, you will need to selected the desired quiz from the drop-down menu.
- Click the blue Embed button at the lower right.
- Save and Publish.
- You may view the quiz by clicking the blue Get Started button in the middle of the media.
- As an assignment, the quiz results will be automatically entered into the Gradebook.
- Please note: Once a quiz has been embedded or taken, it cannot be edited.
