  • In the course navigation, click Studio (1).
  • Click the three lines in Studio(2).
  • In the pop-up, click My Library.
  • Navigate to the media to you would like use as a quiz.
  • Click the three vertical dots (Options) to the right of the video title and click Create Quiz.
  • Enter quiz settings:
    1. Video Quiz Title
    2. Description (optional)
    3. Two toggle buttons:
      • Hide question markers on timeline for students.

    4. When finished, click the blue Get Started button in the lower right corner, which will take you to the media.
  • Next to the play button in the lower left corner, you will see a “+” sign. Click in the video where you would like your first question and the “+” sign will move to that point.
  • Click the “+” and you will see three question format options: Multiple Choice, True or False, Multiple Answer.
  • Select the question format. Enter the question and answers.
    1. Click next to the correct answer.
    2. You may vary points by answer and shuffle choices.
    3. Questions Feedback is available for correct answer, incorrect answer, and all users.
    4. Repeat process for remainder of questions.
  • When all questions have been entered, click Done in the upper right corner.
  • You can view the quiz by clicking the three dots (Options) to the right of the title, Quizzes, and select the quiz.
  • Things to keep in mind:
    1. Canvas Studio Quizzes are limited to 50 questions.
    2. Multiple quizzes can be added to the same video. For example, you are using the same video in different classes and want to use different questions OR updating a quiz from the previous semester.
    3. If you share a Canvas Studio video, the quiz is not included.
