Login Errors
Have you typed your email address correctly?
Your username will always be your email. Please check for misspellings. Also, all emails will need to be entered in lowercase format.
As an external user, are you accessing the correct Canvas URL?
You will not get the reset email if you are trying to reset your password on a site where you are not enrolled. Please try logging in or clicking the "Forgot Password" link on the external UNTHSC Canvas Portal: https://unthsc.instructure.com/login/canvas
Reset Password using the Forgot Password link
In a new browser window, open the https://unthsc.instructure.com/login/canvas UNTHSC Canvas Portal (look for the UNTHSC logo). Click the Forgot Password? link.
Request Password
Enter the email information associated with your Canvas account and click the Request Password button.
Check Email
Return to your email account and sign in. Open the Forgot Password email. (If the email is not in your Inbox, check your Spam folder.)
Open Password Link
Click the Click here to set a new password link.
Note: Password reset emails expire after two hours.
Change Password
Type in a new password and then confirm that password by typing it again. Click the Update Password button.
Log in to Canvas
With your email and the new password, log in to Canvas.
