When using the Mediasite Desktop Recorder (MDR) and trying to upload recorded videos into your MyMediasite account, you may experience the following message:
Mediasite Error - An error occurred while updating the entries
Solution:
This can happen if the MDR is not registered to your profile. Please register MDR by following the steps below
STEP 1
Logon to MyMediasite
STEP 2
Click Add Media
STEP 3
There is a green bar with text reading "Already downloaded the Mediasite Desktop Recorder, but not registered? Click Here.".
Click "Click here" and click Allow if your browser asks "Do you want to allow this page to open “Mediasite Desktop Recorder 2”?
When your EUID is showing the upper left corner of the MDR, it means that MDR registered to your profile.
After MDR is registered, your previously recorded videos should now automatically upload to your MyMediasite account.
