LockDown Browser +Monitor must first be enabled within your Canvas course. For assistance contact canvas@unthsc.edu.
To enable LockDown Browser with a Canvas quiz:
- Create your quizzes in Canvas first. Be sure to set the following:
- Quiz instructions that include your exam policies
- Time limit
- Dates (Available From, Due, and Until)
- Click on Lockdown Browser in your course navigation.
- Navigate to the desired quiz. Click the drop down arrow to the left of the quiz name and click Settings.
- Click "Require Respondus LockDown Browser for this exam
- Face to face courses use LockDown Browser only.
- Online courses may also use Monitor
- Review and modify as needed any additional settings.
- Click Save+Close
- This will update the name of your quiz to include “Respondus LockDown Browser" or “Respondus LockDown Browser + Monitor” in the quiz name. Please do not alter this name.
